Beckerwyc House — Bekkjarvik, Austevoll
The Client
Beckerwyc House is an intimate design-led property in Bekkjarvik, known for its refined aesthetic, culinary focus, and personal guest experience. With carefully considered architecture, tactile materials, and elevated dining concepts, the hotel naturally aligns with high-end hospitality photography, architectural imagery, and cinematic visual storytelling. The scale of the property allows for detail-driven production where atmosphere, craftsmanship, and service take center stage.
What I Delivered
I create a visually driven production that captures the property through commercial photography, film, and drone photography and video, building a refined image library for premium hospitality marketing. The shoot covered interiors, guest rooms, and architecture-focused details, emphasising textures, lines, and spatial flow to reflect the design-forward identity.
Food & beverage coverage and dedicated restaurant photography highlighted the culinary experience, while service-led imagery documented the precision and atmosphere that define the stay. Lifestyle visuals added warmth without overpowering the setting, and private dining and meetings — including the Chambre Séparée — were carefully photographed to position the hotel for exclusive gatherings. Drone footage completed the production, delivering context, elegance, and a cohesive visual narrative.
Location
Located in Austevoll on Norway’s western coast, the hotel sits within a sheltered harbor environment shaped by islands, open water, and changing coastal light. The maritime surroundings create ideal conditions for drone photography and aerial video, offering perspective while anchoring the property within its island landscape. The combination of quiet waterfront views and a historic fishing village backdrop supports strong destination visuals that feel both exclusive and deeply rooted in place.
