SmartHotel — Hammerfest

The Client
Smarthotel Hammerfest is part of the Smarthotel portfolio — a hotel brand focused on smart stays and practical comfort. Welcoming a mix of business travelers, project-based guests, and leisure visitors, the property lends itself well to hotel photography, interior imagery, and straightforward visual communication. The design is modern and functional, supporting content that feels honest, efficient, and easy to connect with.

What I Delivered
The shoot was built around delivering a dependable visual toolkit that the hotel could use across its online presence. Hotel photography covered interiors, guest rooms, and architectural details, focusing on comfort, functionality, and a natural sense of flow throughout the spaces.

Video production was included to strengthen the hotel’s visual communication, alongside vertical formats suited for social platforms. Lifestyle imagery was created when relevant to introduce warmth and relatability, and drone footage was used selectively to provide a clearer sense of location. Altogether, the production resulted in a cohesive content library designed to support the hotel in a practical and long-lasting way.

Location
Set in the coastal town of Hammerfest, far north above the Arctic Circle, the hotel is surrounded by open water, changing weather, and expansive skies. The harbor setting naturally adds atmosphere, while the northern light brings subtle variation throughout the seasons. Drone capture was possible when conditions allowed, helping place the hotel within its remote and distinctive landscape.
