Fru Haugans Hotel — Mosjøen

The Client
Fru Haugans Hotel, a part of the HEIMR Collection, is one of Northern Norway’s oldest continuously operating hotels, where heritage architecture meets a warm, contemporary boutique style. With a strong identity rooted in history and place, the property is well-suited for visual storytelling — the kind that benefits from thoughtful hospitality photography and cinematic framing to highlight both atmosphere and guest experience.

What I Delivered
A full commercial production combining professional photography, cinematic film, and drone photo/video — created to support modern hotel marketing across digital platforms. The scope included interior photography, guest rooms, and food & beverage imagery, all captured with a clean, editorial style that elevates the brand while staying true to the property’s character.

Lifestyle and atmosphere-driven visuals helped communicate the feeling of the stay, while environmental portraits added a human element that strengthens brand identity. Aerial footage and drone photography provided context and scale, rounding out a versatile hospitality content library designed for websites, campaigns, and social media.

Location
Set on the edge of the Vefsna River in Mosjøen, the hotel is surrounded by mountains and historic wooden buildings that give the area a distinct, cinematic feel. Just a short walk from Sjøgata, the location offers plenty of character while still feeling calm and spacious. With the river, colourful streets, and open landscape all close by, there’s strong potential for drone shots that add perspective and help place the hotel naturally within its northern surroundings.
