Hotel Opus XVI—Bergen
The Client
Hotel Opus XVI is a high-end boutique hotel in the center of Bergen and part of the HEIMR Collection. Known for its refined interiors and strong cultural identity, the hotel is set within a historic building that blends heritage architecture with contemporary design. The property is ideal for premium hospitality photography, cinematic videography, and detail-focused visual storytelling. Its elegant spaces translate beautifully into interior imagery, atmospheric film sequences, and elevated brand content.
What I Delivered
A high-end visual production combining commercial photography, cinematic film, and drone photo/video — created to support the hotel’s brand across digital platforms, editorial placements, and campaign use. The production focused on interior photography, guest rooms, and food & beverage spaces, with dedicated restaurant and bar imagery designed to highlight both design and guest experience.
Lifestyle and atmosphere-driven visuals added depth and a natural sense of presence, while portraits were captured when relevant to strengthen the human connection behind the brand. Carefully produced aerial footage provided subtle location context, resulting in a cohesive hospitality content library built for modern marketing and long-term visual consistency.
Location
Located in the heart of Bergen, steps from the harbor and historic city streets, the hotel sits within a dense urban setting that offers a strong contrast between old and new. The surrounding rooftops, narrow streets, and proximity to the waterfront provide opportunities for drone photography and establishing video shots that place the hotel clearly within its city context, while interior-focused visuals keep attention on design, mood, and guest experience.
